A throwback to one of the projects we remember most fondly: a custom installation created for an exclusive luxury retail space, where La Rosa developed mannequins and bespoke display elements designed to help build a unique visual universe.
At the heart of the project was a large sculptural figure inspired by a mermaid: a striking presence that goes beyond the traditional function of a mannequin to become an integral part of the identity of the space.
Working on a custom project means starting with an idea without necessarily knowing, at first, what final form it will take.
A figure can change proportions, acquire unexpected features or become a true scenic element. In the same way, hands, busts and other display supports can be designed to interact with products, furnishings, colours and materials.
